Women being Degraded by Men

I was talking on multiple occassions to different people about how women are being treated. The conclusion of the whole thing was: women let men degrade them. Not just as humans, but as women, we have to set a standard for ourselves and let other people know our standards or else they will continue to disrespect you. So when a man is comming at a woman incorrect, we need to stop them in mid-sentence and say that we do not like the way they are talking to us. I know my supervisor said she doesn't like when men cuss at her or towards her [it does not even have to be about her]. As I thought about it, a lot of men cuss in front of women without a care in the world. But if we really respected ourselves like we should, men would not disrespect us by cussing in front of us.
Acknowledge the fact that men are disrespecting you! Do not laugh it off because the next time they will think it is okay and they will continue to do it. Women need to all have at least a minimum standard that way, men will know I am not aloud to call any woman a ho or a slut because no woman likes that.
My thing is: if it bothers you, let it be known. Do not let anything slide
If women change then men will change.
Also, women cannot walk around ready to be disrespected. Have some dignity about yourself. If you look like you about to go to the club everyday then a man go approach you as if he was at the club. You basically gave him an open invitation to come up to you in a not correct way!
Men! You have to realize women are somebody's daughter, cousin, mother, aunt, or sister. You would not want any man to approach your family member in a way that they feel disrespected, so do not approach any woman that way. Treat every lady like they are somebody's somebody! Ya feel me!
I know if I get approached in the wrong way, Ima treat you like you didn't approach me AT All!!
What happened to the days where men treated women like royality!?? We need to go back to that! Men need to do their part as well as women. Do not chill with a lady unless she is officially your girl and you are 100% committed! That goes for ladies! Do not chill with a man unless he is your man! Otherwise, you just flat out disrespecting yourself! Come on! This is 2010! We all know what chill means!
Men need to go back to calling the lady and having little phone conversations! Asking them out for a date!
Men will only go as far as we let them! They will only disrespect us as far as we let them!
We need to realize that we are women! Men cannot live without us! LOL
So seriously, women, be a Proverbs 31 woman! Be a phenomenial woman! Be some type of respectful woman! Trust me, disrespect is only earned! Just like respect is only earned!
