Career vs Love

Many times men are the bread winners in a relationship. Women are the ones who follow their 'other' and just live (career) of off what they can find in that area where their 'other' is. So my thoughts are.. Is it beneficial for you to follow your opportunities in a career or follow your heart with the love. It is so hard because either way it goes it could be set up for the best or the worse. In many cases, I know some men leave their opportunities for love. Ex: my daddy had a job up north but followed my mother to Ga. At that time she was the only one with a job. However, she was a teacher, which was like a guaranteed job. My father's profession is competitive.
Love will make you happy no matter the situation. And opportunites will come and go. So i guess the question I'm asking my bloggers is: love and happiness, or successful and on your own???
Personally, I wouldn't want to miss a great opportunty. I would just have to hope my 'other' would follow.

I'm A Dreamer, so I dream BIG

I am just excited for the things that are going to happen in my life! Before I blogged about how some have the drive for success and some don't. Well for a long time I felt that I did not have a drive for success, even though I wanted to be successful. But now I can feel the drive and I just have to act on it! I feel so good.
My blog is entitled this because I really do dream about my future a lot. But as I stated, I feel the drive. I will be a big person whos dream will become a reality! I don't know my destination, but I will know when I get there. Now that I have a plan to carry out my dreams, I'm good!

Strike out

Hey bloggers!
My face went on strike you guys! Like seriously! I am currently out of town, so I don't know if that has something to do with it but my face has had it!
It broke out every where! And usually I will get a bump (zit) but I swear I got like 5 just on my chin right now!
And from other people's results on black soap, it works. For me, my family saw results but it's almost like my skin got immuned to it so it doesn't work any more. So now I guess I got to change my regimem. I swear I'm just tired of it! Like I don't know why I'm breaking out! I have one clue (maybe too many sweets) but besides that I dont know! I drink plenty of water, plenty! And that's an understatement.
So as I was thinking today about it, I just need to go back to my old ways. Because in high school I did not break out like this. I barely had any scares on my face. Ever since college it's been going down hill.
I have one more solution I am going to try. But within trying that I am going to just go with my simple ways. Go with what I was doing in high school. I can only thank God for the revelation. I just hope this is it. Sometimes simple is better.
I'm just fed up though. And I hate the fact that there is no fast way to do it. Everything takes time. Anyway! If there are any suggestions, pls help! I have combination skin! Everyone that seems me know I can shine brighter than the sun when it comes to my face from it being so oily. But at the same time, my face can be dry (around the lip/chin area). So again, if you have any suggestions, help!

Goals

As I have written in a previous post, I am totally lost as to what I want to do (career wise) with my life. All I know is that I do not want to live my life behind a desk for 30+ years. So I have recently made a mental goal list, which I need to write down, of what i want to do with my life in a year, 5yrs, and 10 years.
So I am quite excited because goals are like a road map! Even though life is technically unplanned.
Now I know what I want to do before or right at the age of 25! (Now who's to say those plans may change?? But it still feels good to know what I want now).--or at least part of what I wanna do! :)
You guys should also try goals! I mean, I know everyone are familiar with goals. But do you really set out to achieve them? I'm not talking no "I want this and that". I'm talking I am going to have this or that. Speak into existance and carry it out with steps or actions. Faith without works is #dead!

Vintage

Being nosey, i found this beautiful pen on my mother's dresser. And from the looks of it (and from knowing her style) I know it's vintage. I asked could I have it. Of course I got *baow baow* shut down! But it doesnt hurt to ask! Since I asked she said i could borrow it. So now i have to find the perfect blouse to wear with it.

When Reality Hits

Hey you guys!
So this break really has me thinking.. a lot!
How can I be successful and happy without having a boring desk job?
What can I do that I will love and make good money off of doing?
How can I not be bored working?
..and the toughest of them all:
What do I REALLY want to do with my life?

That's right... I am set to graduate Fall 2011, and it finally hit me: I really don't know what I want to do with my life.
I work as a student assistant at school in an office..and that is what made me realize: I don't want a desk job.
It's kinda boring just sitting there...waiting for something to happen.
I kind of want to be hands on..
So here I am googling all types of stuff to see what I am really interested in.
Good luck to me? ..I am definitely going to need it.
I got to figure out a way to be successful, happy, love what I am doing without sitting at a desk.
*sigh* I feel like I am running out of time seeing how I only have a year to think this through.
I love my major..it's real diverse.. I just gotta figure out what I want to do with it.

Hydration Hydration!

As the winter time takes full affect, I just want to remind my readers to stay hydrated! Inside and out.
It is important to continually drink water like it's the only drink on Earth!
And I for one have dry skin so I know how important it is to make sure your skin stays hydrated.
Lotion up everyday, regardless of if you are wearing pants, long-sleeves, etc and thinking no one will see my skin so it don't matter that I am ashy!
Ashy is a state of dryness..and not protecting your skin can cause problematic dry skin.

Must Remember

If you are a believer, it is essential to believe in God and what he has to offer. He offers protection, guidance, peace, love, joy, comfort, and much more. If only people realize that everything that you want in man, God has in Himself.
If it had not been for God, where would you really be? It's God that decided that your grade should be an A instead of a B. It's God that decided that you should not have been in that accident that you would have been in if you left 5min earlier. It is God that kept you from contracting a disease when you weren't physically protected.
I don't think people realize how strong God love is for His people. One thing I believe everyone should do is thank God every morning for protection, health, and so forth. Pray Psalms 91 over your life every day before you leave the house. Pray Isaiah 53 for your health. The Bible has everything you need. Seriously! Aint nothing man can do that God cannot.
And if people weren't so concerned about consuming love from others and they found love in God they would know the true definition of love. When you look at what God prevented and what He allowed you cannot say it is anything but love!

It's A Mind Thing

When someone is comfortable, are they happy or successful? This is something that I think of regularly. Being comfortable after awhile would be boring to me. There is nothing to look forward to; no goals to accomplish. I challenge every one to step outside of their comfort zone. We should always strive to live better than our comfort zone. No one could possible be happy being comfortable. You do not have to be rich to be successful. However, even the rich proves that living comfortable is boring. Why do you think they are always trying to get the next best thing? Like cars and houses and clothes. When you get comfortable, you stop expecting great things because life can become somewhat predictable. We should live for excitement, not promiscious excitement, but nonetheless excitement!
I believe being successful has everything to do with whether or not you're comfortable. Once you've reached your goal, there is always still room to improve.

New Beginnings

It's less than a month away before the new year [2011] begins. Along with the New Year comes new commitments. I don't know about ya'll my readers but one thing I do know is that I am getting tired of everyone making New Years Resolutions [NYR] and talking about how they are going to change. "New Year, new me." New Years Resolutions = Procrastination to its finest! Why not better yourself with every new day that God has blessed you.
NYR ain't nothing but a fad, for lack of better words. If someone really wanted to change then they wouldn't wait until a new year. If someone really wanted to change, motivation and the right mindset would be the beginning or the start of change.
So I, Bianca, challenges you [the reader] to be a new or a better you starting now! Not January 1st.

Downtown valdosta

For one of my friends 21st bday we went to a bistro downtown valdosta. I must say this is quite the romantic restuarant. When you first come in there is a piano to the right. The lighting is dim. And it's just so grown and sexy feeling. However, it is quite expensive. This pictured meal alone was round $15. It was worth it but at the same time you can get this same meal somewhere else for $10. #imjussaying Lol
Anyway.. I loved the experienced.

Addiction

I went to Walgreen's and Rite Aid all to fill my hunger of nail polish! I bought 6 new colors of the Sinful Color Collection. And even got a Rite Aid card -_- lol.
Right now I am wearing the Soul Mate, which I have to say is my favorite!
**I must also say that I love the shades of pink and red! Pink because I am in love with neutral colors. I find pink to be a neutral color because you can wear it with anything and you can wear it in whatever season and it will look good! [however hot pink is not neutral! :)] and red is just a classy color to me and represents sophistication! like red is so old school..and I love old school! :) **

Thankful

Today in service my pastor was teaching about several things, but it all tied together. One thing that I found to be important is that as Christians, we cannot be lazy. Being lazy can be not praying or reading your Bible daily. When i mention praying, i don't mean a goodnight prayer or praying over your food. I mean a consistent prayer throughout the day to help you get through the day. Reading more than 3 chapters a day out the Bible. And I'm not shunning anyone because I will admit I read bout 1 chapter a day. However, to see results you must continuously read. You will not grow in wisdom if you do not try to expand your knowledge (sp).
Another thing, the Bible talks about tithing. God providing seed to the sower so the sower can plant the seed and multiply. However, most people consider tithing a routine. Tithing shouldnt be a routine because once it's a routine the expected blessing is no longer expected. Give to the church with faith knowing you will have something in return. Dont give and not think about your blessings.
One last thing, just always always always thank God for what you already have. Tell Him you appreciate it and Him!

The Start of My Collection

Hey everyone!
This is another style/fashion type blog! I won't apologize for doing it because.. well..it's my blog! Lol
I will do others tho..
But I started my collection on my most talked about Sinful Colors collection!
I am in Love... seriously, I have dreams about this collection! #nolie
I'm just that kinda girl! :-)
So here is the start of my collection..along with a preview of a color on my nails

So the first two bottles are the base and top coat. Then there is soul mate #945, Tokyo pearl  #112, go go girl #852, HoliDay nail 926, and Ruby Ruby#369 [which is my sister's]

Here is the HD color! I have mixed feelings about this one. Definitely something that will have to grow on me [when I say it is Christmas green, it is Christmas green!] but I got it just bc I wanted some green polish nail bc Green is my favorite color! :)

Seriously! I am addicted.. and I will be going to Walgreen's to pick up some more for my collection! By the way, in a previous post I said that it was $2+ (online..shopping is a butt! by the way) . However, at Walgreen's and other participating locations it is only $1.99. The nail treatment stuff [like base coat] is 3.99 though.

Staple Items

So today is December 1st! I know this gets so old but!: i feel renewed and just so refreshed bc it's the 1st of the month! God has great things for me!
Anyway..today i put a whole bunch of stable items together! And it was like a cool-looking/professional look.
I even wanna post a pic! Staple items: blazer (suit jacket), white shirt, jeans, and black flats!
