No Limits, No Boundaries..Enlarge My Territory!

I just had a great conversation with an old high school friend. What she told me is nothing new, we all heard it before. However, when someone has so much inspiration in what they tell you, you can do nothing but listen.
She told me that I should seriously think about what I want out of life. What kind of woman I want to be? I must say, she gave me a lot to think about! I never considered it..True, through life, I set goals to accomplish. But goals are only temporary. Once you reach your goal..then what? Choosing what is best for me has to be more than just a goal, it has to be a lifestyle!!
As a person, you should never settle for less,,or even settle at all. This can be taken in life generally...
Don't play your race card on anything that happens. Accept it as experience and move on. Do not limit yourself to just your culture. Being the minority in a country should just make you want to explore more!!!
Life is about adventure! I was born in Atlanta, Ga. Does that mean that I should never see outside of Atlanta? No, this should just encourage me to see what else is out there! Do what I am afraid of doing!! Do not be concerned with the end result [have common sense, but don't let anyone LIMIT you from what you want to do]. Do not let anyone define who I want to be. Do not be concerned with what others think of me. If I am happy!..let me continue with my life.
All negativity needs to stop! Not just in my life, but in your life too! If someone is not benefitting you, why would you continue entertaining them with the foolishness they present to you.
Sometimes it is best just to let go of the old things. Doing what is comfortable is not always best.
Lastly, when it comes to any significant other...do not accept what they give you. If they cannot respect you [the most important thing] then why continue to even build a friendship/relationship? Someone disrespecting you is like you disrespecting yourself. If you are not comfortable with yourself, do not go in a relationship/friendship uncomfortable. This is where the person will have an advantage.
Anyway, she told me [in a nut shell]: be who you are, discover your lifestyle, do not let others influence you.
That is why the title is no limits, no boundaries...enlarge my territory [it is also a gospel song].. do not put limits on yourself, you do not have any boundaries except from within..in which you must enlarge your territroy so you're boundaries and limits will no longer be your boundaries nor your limits!!
